Last updated: March 2025

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Ark Advocacy website and the services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. What we do

Ark Advocacy provides workplace policy analysis, hearing preparation support, and lay representation at internal workplace proceedings and Employment Tribunals. These are entirely unregulated activities under the Legal Services Act 2007.

3. What we do not do

We are not solicitors and we do not provide regulated legal advice. Nothing on this website or provided through our services constitutes legal advice. If you require legal advice, you should consult a qualified solicitor.

4. Our services

We will confirm the scope of any engagement in writing before work begins. Fees will be agreed in advance. We reserve the right to decline any instruction at our discretion.

5. Payment

Fees are payable as agreed in your service confirmation. We do not charge outcome-based fees or contingency fees.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all information you share with us as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your information to your employer without your explicit consent. We may share information with trusted associates or specialist advisers where necessary to assist with your matter. Any such parties are bound by confidentiality. We will not disclose your information to any other third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. However, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome in any workplace proceeding or Employment Tribunal. Our liability to you in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid by you for that engagement.

8. Intellectual property

Any written reports or documents we produce for you are provided for your personal use in connection with your workplace matter. They may not be reproduced or shared commercially without our consent.

9. Website use

The content on this website is provided for general information only. We make no representations about its accuracy or completeness. Use of this website is at your own risk.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

11. Changes
